Goal: The primary objective of the project was to revamp the branding of 888poker LIVE, in order to enhance its market appeal and establish a stronger brand presence. These are some of the very first logo proposals...
Materials created: Pillars and banners, stage backdrop and LED screens, wayfinding signs and branded entrance arch, poker table felt, dealer uniforms, poker chips (custom designs with event branding), digital and print posters, branded merchandise (t-shirts, hats, card protectors), 3D mockups, VIP area branding (lounge design, signage), animated digital content for screens, and social media graphics for event promotion.
Tools used: Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign, Blender, After Effects, Premiere Pro.
The concept of the three linked 8s emerged from a collective post-pandemic desire for connection and social interaction. It symbolizes the renewed enthusiasm for live play, where people can gather, share the same space, and experience the joy of being at the same table once again. This design captures the essence of togetherness and the excitement of returning to in-person gaming, reflecting a deeper understanding of the human need to connect and have fun in a shared environment, much like at the 888poker live events.
Unfortunately, this logo didn’t make it to the final selection. Although I believe it would fit perfectly in the new 888poker Live Branding, it had everything needed to become the iconic emblem for all the 888poker live events.

However, adhering to the well-known approach of staying on the safe side and not straying too far from the existing branding, I had to find a way to provide various layout concepts that aligned with the brand's established identity while also offering fresh perspectives.
The rebranding project for 888poker LIVE brought a vibrant new identity to the brand. Through the development and implementation of innovative logos and modernized layout designs, the project boosted brand awareness and elevated customer trust, as reflected in internal data. The rebranding significantly enhanced 888poker LIVE's visibility, making it more appealing and competitive in the market. The positive impact and success are clearly demonstrated in the next pictures that were taken in Madrid and Manchester during the launch in January 2023.
